1. Overview

ZARIN Real Estate respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users and partners to do the same. This DMCA & Copyright Policy describes how we handle claims of copyright infringement on our website at zarinrealestate.com and our other online properties.

While the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a United States law, we follow its notice-and-takedown procedures globally because we believe they provide a fair, efficient framework for resolving copyright disputes. We also comply with UAE Federal Law No. 7 of 2002 on Copyrights and Related Rights and its amendments.

If you believe your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes infringement on our website, please follow the notice procedure described in Section 4. We respond to all valid notices promptly.

2. Our Intellectual Property

All content published on zarinrealestate.com — including but not limited to text, articles, blog posts, market reports, area guides, photographs, illustrations, logos, graphics, calculators, page layouts, and software code — is the property of ZARIN Real Estate or our content licensors, unless otherwise stated.

The ZARIN name, ZARIN logo, and the visual identity system are protected trademarks. Property photographs sourced from developers, sellers, or third-party agencies are credited where required and used under license. Market data sourced from the Dubai Land Department, RERA, or other government authorities is used in compliance with their open-data terms.

If you wish to use any of our content beyond the limited fair-use permission below, contact us at legal@zarinrealestate.com with details of your intended use.

3. Permitted Use of Our Content

You may view, download, and print pages from our website for your personal, non-commercial use. You may also share links to our articles and reports on social media or in private communications, provided you do not modify the content and you preserve any attribution.

You may not, without our prior written permission:

  • ·Republish, redistribute, or commercially exploit any substantial portion of our website content.
  • ·Use the ZARIN name, logo, or brand assets in your own marketing without a separate brand-use agreement.
  • ·Scrape, mirror, or systematically copy our property listings, calculators, or market data for use on another website or platform.
  • ·Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from our content.
  • ·Use our content to train AI or machine-learning models without an explicit data licensing agreement.

4. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content on our website infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated DMCA agent. Notices can be submitted by email or by registered mail to the address in Section 9.

We will acknowledge receipt of your notice within 48 hours and process valid notices within 10 business days. To be effective, your notice must include all the elements listed in Section 5. Incomplete notices may delay processing or be returned for clarification.

Please note that under UAE and international law, you may be liable for damages (including costs and legal fees) if you make a false or misleading claim of infringement. Before filing a notice, ensure that you genuinely own or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner, and that the use you are reporting is not authorized by law (e.g., fair use).

5. Notice Requirements

A valid DMCA notice to ZARIN Real Estate must include the following elements:

  • 1.Identification of the copyrighted work: a clear description of the original work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works, list each one.
  • 2.Identification of the infringing material: the specific URL(s) on our website where the allegedly infringing material is located, plus a description sufficient for us to locate it.
  • 3.Your contact information: your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • 4.Statement of good faith: a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • 5.Statement of accuracy: a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
  • 6.Physical or electronic signature: a signed notice (typed signature accepted for email notices) of the copyright owner or an authorized agent.

6. Our Response Process

When we receive a valid DMCA notice, we follow this process:

1
Acknowledgment
We acknowledge receipt within 48 hours and assign a case reference number.
2
Review
Our legal team reviews the notice for completeness and validity. We may request clarification if elements are missing.
3
Notification to uploader
If the content was posted by a third party (e.g., a guest contributor), we notify them and provide an opportunity to submit a counter-notice.
4
Takedown
If the notice is valid and no counter-notice is received within 10 business days, we remove or disable access to the material.
5
Confirmation
We confirm the takedown to the original notifier and record the action in our internal compliance log.

7. Counter-Notice

If you believe that material you posted on our website was removed in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. A valid counter-notice must include:

  • ·Your physical or electronic signature.
  • ·Identification of the material that was removed and the location at which it appeared before removal.
  • ·A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • ·Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • ·A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the UAE courts (or your local jurisdiction, if applicable) and that you will accept service of process from the original notifier.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material within 10–14 business days unless we first receive notice from the original complainant that they have filed a legal action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement.

8. Repeat Infringers

We maintain a list of users and content contributors who have been the subject of multiple valid DMCA notices. In appropriate circumstances, we will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We also reserve the right to remove any content that we believe, in our sole discretion, infringes the rights of others.

9. DMCA Designated Agent

All DMCA notices and counter-notices should be sent to our designated DMCA agent:

ZARIN DMCA Designated Agent
Sheikh Zayed Road, Downtown Dubai, UAE

For non-urgent copyright inquiries (e.g., permission requests, licensing), please contact legal@zarinrealestate.com instead of the DMCA agent.
